Shrewsbury Road, Oswestry Care Home
A new 3968m2 purpose built 88 bedroom care home for Coverage Care Services Limited. The home replaces and extends Coverage Care’s existing Fairhome facility at Morda Road in Oswestry. The £5m development is due for completion in early 2013.

Castlemead and Coverage Celebrate Care in Oswestry
Castlemead Group Ltd. of Wrexham are looking forward to the ground breaking ceremony of their latest Oswestry development. The event, hosted by Shropshire based Coverage Care Services Ltd will take place on 21st of October to mark the start of an 88 bed care home at Shrewsbury Road. Castlemead have recently developed a state of the art medical facility at Cambrian Works in the town.
For Castlemead Group Ltd the care home will compliment work already undertaken in North Shropshire at Whitchurch where the award winning Greenfields care home was completed last summer for Coverage Care.
A spokesperson for Castlemead said 'Our excellent partnership with Coverage Care will bring to fruition a 21st century care facility. Many residents will be transferred from Fairholme which, along with all of Coverage Care’s homes has an excellent reputation for care. We are especially proud of our Oswestry connections. “The plan is to transfer the 40 residents and all the existing staff from Fairholme in Morda Road Oswestry to the new home when it is compete and to then return the existing building to Shropshire Council” said Mr Coull.
Coverage Care currently operates 17 care centres in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin, all on a not for profit basis. The company employs 800 staff and provides a range of care services for more than 1500 mainly older people.

Castlemead Secures Planning Permission for New Care Home at Bradford on Avon
Castlemead Care, has been granted planning approval for a state of the art 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Bradford on Avon, near Bath.
The £9 million development will be built on the former Berryfield House hospital site, just off Bath Road, and will comprise of a 63 bed elderly nursing home and 14 two bedroom assisted living units.
The home will provide nursing and dementia care for residents and will be operated by Porthaven Care Homes. It will also provide services to residents in the assisted living units, which Castlemead will develop for retirement housing specialists, Beechcroft.
Construction will commence in May with completion in the summer of 2013. The development forms part of an extensive programme of new build care facilities by Castlemead across the UK.
