Oswestry Health Centre Handover
Castlemead are delighted to announce the completion and handover of the Oswestry Primary Care Centre project. The development was handed over to Shropshire PCT in July this year followed by the completion of the sale of the property to Primary Health Investment Properties PLC. The 40,000 ft2 Primary Care Centre houses Cambrian Surgery doctors practice, advanced primary care services, a minor injuries unit, community dental facilities and PCT office space. The £9m scheme, involving the conversion of 19th century Grade 2 listed railway sheds, was first conceived of by Castlemead in 2006 when the planned Oswestry “5-acre site” health village development was abandoned due to Town and Village Green registration. The official opening of the centre is planned for November 2011.
